Imagine being a 15-year-old spending nearly a year alone as an exchange student in the USA. Imagine going to USA at a very young age leaving your family behind, living with a different family, and not speaking the language, this experience has taught me so many things. It taught me some serious life lessons—like how to be independent, take responsibility for my actions, and meet deadlines without someone constantly reminding me.
Dealing with culture shock at such a young age taught me to adapt to new situations very fast and respect different cultures. It made me a dependable, discerning, and determined person.
But if you’re curious to know even more about me…
I’ve worked in different industries: 3 years+ in Marketing / Project Managment, 4 years in Customer Service, 3 years in Sales, and another 4 years in Office Administration. This journey taught me how to work seamlessly in a team and fly solo when needed. Plus, I’ve taken the skills from each job and blended them into my current role as a media planner.
Customer service taught me things like active listening, communication, empathy, patience, and a continuous learning mindset.
On the flip side, office administration gave me decision-making chops, teamwork skills, professionalism, multitasking abilities, time management, attention to detail, adaptability, critical thinking, and super-strong organizational skills (did I mention attention to detail?).

I am passionate about working in media planning & marketing coordinator because it enables me to thrive in the development and organization of essential data supporting strategic plans and recommendations.
Engaging with clients on the tactical aspects of media plans is just not a job to me; instead, it’s an opportunity to let the flow of information and queries be resolved effectively.
Overall, managing the contracts and insertion orders with media vendors, as well as guiding spending for media buys to actualize correctly, is very fulfilling to me.
Being in charge of updating blocking charts, budgets, and budget summaries speaks to my commitment to precision and detail.
I work closely with the creative account team and assist in media research to build meaningful relationships and help drive team success.
Additionally, the competitive media reports being updated dynamically, together with the technical support for presentation materials, make the job exciting and rewarding for me.
